Love, a leaf?

Drifting away like a leaf that’s lost its place in the branch, that has become too old too insignificant for the tree to bear its weight so it falls without a certain destination till on earth it lands, then decomposes and gives back to the tree.
True love has some similarities with a leaf, don't you think?

Life,

Life,
Is full of unexpected turns,
Unexplainable twists,
With lessons to be learned,
When you think life is worthless,
That there’s nothing to be earned,
Life gives you an instance,
So that you’ll discern,
How precious life is,
Each moment a treasure,
For you to keep,
It’s beyond all measure,
Then you look at your self,
With gratitude that’s uneven,
And start to appreciate the life,
That you’ve been given.

Like crystal..........

Some times you become
Utterly helpless
Like when your favorite vase
Falls from the table
As if in slow motion
Your eyes go wide
When the realization hits you
That you can’t save it
Unless you’re super human
Either way you jump forward
Trying to attempt the unthinkable
Just to be a few seconds too late
A few inches too short
And in that split second
You know the end
But you still try to hold on
Refusing to grasp the reality
And the crystal shatters
Into a million pieces
Leaving your staring

Dizzy......

Some times
I feel
Like a fish
In a glass bowl
Going around in circles
For there’s no where else to go
I see the world around me
See the people going about
I want to step out side
I want to be free
But I can’t
I need water to breath
It makes me wonder
If that world’s not for me

Insecure...

You stand there
Insecurities wrapped around you
Like a stubborn rose bud going against nature
Refusing to bloom
Let the world see you for who you are
Let them appreciate your beauty
Let your petals spread wide and bask in the sun
Absorb the warm rays; let it deepen your hues
Let your scent spread far and wide
Live, love and appreciate life
Instead of becoming a withered rose
Who hasn’t lived a single day
Because life doesn’t wait
And it’s too precious to waste.

Rose

May I lay a thorned rose upon your grave,
                                                                earthly and new?
To represent the love that you gave,
                                                          harsh but true.
Even after you’ve gone far away,
                                                          I’ll always turn to you.
For the prick from the thorn subsides,
                                                          When the fragrance seeps through.
