Tick Tock

I just watch,

as life pass me by,

Arms of the clock move slowly,

yet the days just seem to fly by.

Winds change course,

day turns into night,

seasons dissolve,

people die.

Tick Tock

I still watch

As life pass me by.

Have you?

Have you ever seen people

Smiling through their pain?

If you open your eyes a sight of them

Is not that hard to gain

If you pay more attention

You’ll see sorrow twinkling in their eyes

Sadness pouring through

in between their smiles

If you see someone that daring

share a smile with them, please do, coz

Smiling while you’re suffering is a hard thing to do.

Common to all humans

Love is like music,

There are no boundaries

Like language or cast,

It’s not hard to understand,

When your eyes meet

With that person’s

They speak words

Of a language

Common to all humans,                                                                                      

The language of love...

Lost without you.............

To all the goodness I saw in a man

You came along and gave a face

And slowly bound your life with mine

Till it all became a blur

Now storm clouds are rolling in

Above the cliff I’m sitting on

Saturating everything in a gray hue

The deep grey of your eyes

Weighing on me like your steady gaze

The way you seem to gaze some times,

Your eyes filled with evident adoration,

But not at me at her

For me

You were always like the horizon

Always keeping a steady distance

Visible but never touchable

Never attainable

Just like the illusion we are

A raindrop falls on my lips

Its’ coolness making me shiver

Freezing all my senses

Making me numb to my loss

And the horizon is slowly blurring away

I can’t see through the sheet of rain

Now I realize that

You need not be loved by the one you love

To keep your love life long

You’ll be my secret love

A secret buried deep within my heart

Hidden from everyone forever

Till from this world I depart

I let you rob me of my heart

Let all my existence be smeared

It’s a past I can’t seem to let go

And I’m still here drenched in rain and tears
